Lilly Endless Summer Sale

Hey everyone! I hope that everyone has had an easy adjustment back into school, and I'm sure that this is going to be a really great year.

As I'm sure most of you already know, this year's Lilly Endless Summer Sale was one that no one will forget! After about 15 minutes of the sale, the site CRASHED because it was over capacity. Woah! Fortunately, the customer service was wonderful about keeping all of us updated, and before the night was over IT got the problem fixed.

If You Were My Best Friend...

Recently I saw this post on one of my favorite Lilly blogs, Loving Life and Lilly, and I thought it was so cute that I would share it!

If you were my best friend you would know that...

...Awkward is my ALL time favorite show on TV right now. There has not been a week that I have missed a new episode. Y'all have got to check it out because it's hilarious!

...I go out to dinner with my dad once a week. It's so much fun and gives us a chance to catch up.

...I have an OBSESSION with oldie's music. They are the best!

...Moose Tracks Ice Cream is my guilty pleasure. If my mom buys it, there is no guarantee it will be there for long.

...I watch The Lizzie McGuire Movie at least once a month! It's just one of those movies that makes you feel great, and I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that Lizzie played some part in their childhood/teenage years.

...when I go to college I want to major in International Business. I love studying about different cultures, and it would be a dream come true to study abroad.

...I'm embarrassingly lazy, and I never workout except at volleyball practice or when required. Probably need to work on that!

...I would MUCH rather go to the beach than the lake. A lot of people like the lake better, but I don't see what is so great!

...my biggest pet peeve is rudeness out of spite. There is nothing worse to me than someone being rude to you for no reason!

...sweet tea and water are the only drinks I drink.

...I am SUCH an impulse buyer. Money burns a whole in my pocket.

...I am a huge University of South Carolina fan! Go Gamecocks!

...cooking is something I don't do very well, but I am trying to get better!

Back To School: A Playlist

In the spirit of everyone going back to school and work, I decided to make a playlist dedicated to getting back to the daily grind! Here are some songs I have been loving lately:

1. "Vegas Girl" by Conor Maynard (I heard this song when he was MTV's "Push" Artist of the Week, and I fell in love.)

2. "Gold on the Ceiling" by The Black Keys (I keep hearing this song playing at the Olympics, and it's totally appropriate for the occasion!)

3. "The Heart of Life" by John Mayer

4. "Ain't Nothin Bout You" by Brooks and Dunn

5. "If You Leave" by OMD (Whenever I hear this song, it always reminds me of the last scene in Pretty in Pink when Blaine and Andy get back together. LOVE IT!)

6. "Waiting for a Girl like You" by Diego Boneta (I pretty much melt whenever I hear this song, and this movie was SO much better than I thought it would be.)

7. "Cashin Out" by Cash Out

8. "Somewhere With You" by Kenny Chesney

9. "Hold My Hand" by Hootie and the Blowfish (Come on, who doesn't love Hootie?!)

10. "Under the Boardwalk" by the Drifters (Great for shagging.)

11. "Someone Else Callin You Baby" by Luke Bryan

12. "The Tide is High" by Atomic Kitten (Does anyone else love this song from The Lizzie McGuire Movie as much as I do?)

13. "Wide Awake" by Katy Perry

14. "Starry Eyed" by Ellie Goulding (Next to "Lights", this is one of Ellie's best songs. Definitely her next big hit!)

15. "Love Me Tender" by Norah Jones (A great new take on an old hit; she is such a great singer it almost makes me want to cry.)

16. "I Don't Want This Night to End" by Luke Bryan (He is most definitely singing to me in this song! hahaha)

17. "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King 

18. "Island in the Sun" by Weezer (This song will definitely bring back those summer memories!)

19. "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers (I LOVE THIS SONG.)

Hey everyone! Oh my gosh I have missed blogging SO much this past week. I have had volleyball three times a day, which has kept me super busy. BUT, the other night I did have time to relax and do a couple crafts. I instagrammed this picture: 

I free handed on a canvas, and although it didn't turn out the exact way I had hoped, it was still alright.

Whoever painted this is amazing at free hand! I also loved it because it's Hotty Pink Ten Speed, one of my favorite Lilly prints EVER! 

I need a little work, but I love painting, so I won't have a problem spending extra time learning. :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

This week, I am loving...

My Lilly planner. It is adorable, and makes planning events SO much fun.

Speaking of Lilly, I am also loving the new fall collection. Even though I was a little wary when I saw the lookbook, there are many cute pieces! My most favorite might be the neon silk Elsas!

I am loving the Bonefish "Bang Bang Shrimp", that is now only $5! AND, if you don't like shrimp, they have "Bang Bang Chicken" too! Delicious!

I am loving watching all the Olympic events on TV! GO USA!

Lilly on Rue La La today! They had so much cute stuff.

Something I am NOT loving...

Volleyball tryouts. They worked us to death today! Cross your fingers that I will survive tomorrow.

Tickled Pink

Kate Spade Carousel Bangle $250

I LOVE THIS BANGLE WATCH! 

There are no words to describe how much I love/want/need this. It would match with many of my outfits, and it is pretty much an asset to my wardrobe at this point.

The watch even has "Tickled Pink" engraved into it! I can hear it calling my name!
